Application

1. Core Competition Sandpit System (Infrastructure Engineering)
The sandpit is the foundation of the entire venue; its construction quality directly determines what level of international or national tournaments the center can host.
· Tournament-Grade Sand: High-purity, dust-free, non-abrasive washed quartz sand or natural beach sand (with particle sizes strictly controlled between 0.2mm and 1.0mm). The sand layer depth for a standard court must be at least 40 cm.
· Sub-Sand Drainage System: Layered from bottom to top beneath the sand pit: an HDPE geomembrane, anti-clogging geotextile, a graded crushed stone base, and a perforated PVC drainage pipe network. This ensures no standing water remains within 30 minutes after heavy rainfall.
· Surrounding Windbreak & Ball-Retention Fencing: High-strength galvanized, powder-coated fencing (4m to 6m high) encircling the perimeter to prevent match balls from flying out of bounds.
· Sand Retaining Walls & Slopes: Concrete or high-strength PVC retaining barriers around the edges to prevent surrounding soil from washing into the sandpit during storms and to eliminate sand erosion.
2. Core Competition Equipment (Tournament Standards)
· Multi-functional Competition Net Posts: Hydraulic or manual height-adjustable posts (men's 2.43m, women's 2.24m, and adjustable heights for youth events or beach tennis) wrapped in protective safety padding at least 5cm thick.
· Professional Beach Volleyball Net & Antennae: High-tensile, UV-resistant nylon or polyethylene nets featuring fiberglass antennae and high-visibility borders.
· Boundary Lines & Anchors: 5cm-wide, tensile, sun-resistant webbing (typically bright blue or red) equipped with a deep-buried sand anchoring system at all four corners to keep lines perfectly taut and secure.
· Officiating Equipment:
· Mobile referee high-chairs (height-adjustable, equipped with integrated sunshade/umbrella holders).
· Linesperson flags, substitution boards, red/yellow cards, and official scorer tables and chairs.
· Electronic or manual double-sided tournament scoreboards.
· Match Balls & Accessories: Tournament-certified professional beach volleyballs, stainless steel ball carts, high-pressure inflation pumps, and digital pressure gauges.
3. Steel Structure Grandstand & Canopy System (Spectator Area)
The grandstands accommodate spectators, generate energy for the event, and serve as the primary source of ticketing and advertising revenue.
· Main Steel Frame: All structural steel must undergo hot-dip galvanizing (or aluminum spraying) for heavy-duty anti-corrosion and rust resistance, anchored onto independent concrete foundations.
· Tensile Membrane Canopy: A PVDF or PTFE membrane structure canopy is highly recommended for shade and rain protection. It offers a modern, sporty aesthetic and blocks 99% of UV rays, ensuring spectator comfort.
· Spectator Seating System: UV-resistant, highly durable hollow blow-molded mid-back or high-back seats. Colors can be customized to display club logos or sponsor patterns across the stands.
· Safety Guardrails: Heavy-duty stainless steel or closely spaced fall-protection barriers (at least 1.1m high) on the sides, back, and front edge of the grandstand.
· Evacuation & Drainage Integration: Checkered steel anti-slip plates for steps, luminescent emergency exit signs, and storm interceptor ditches (grandstand rainwater must be routed independently and must never drain into the sandpit).
4. Under-Grandstand Supporting Rooms (Administrative & Logistics Space)
Maximizing the enclosed space beneath the steel grandstand structure saves significantly on separate civil engineering and building costs.
· Athlete & Official Area:
· Gender-Segregated Locker Rooms & Showers: Equipped with commercial high-capacity water heating systems, electronic lockers, heavy-duty hair dryers, and bench seating.
· Referees' Lounge: Equipped with meeting tables, chairs, air conditioning, and tactical boards.
· Medical & First-Aid Room (Mandatory): Equipped with first-aid beds, an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), a dedicated ice machine for injury management, and sports medicine storage cabinets.
· Tournament Operations & Administration:
· Tournament Control Center / Commentary Box: Positioned at the best viewing angle on the grandstand with large floor-to-ceiling glass windows, integrated audio mixing consoles, and broadcasting systems.
· Media/Press Workroom: Equipped with high-bandwidth wired network ports, power outlets, and multimedia projection equipment.
· VIP Lounge / Executive Boxes: Furnished with sofas, coffee tables, and independent climate control for hosting VIPs, officials, and sponsors.
· Equipment Storage Room: A spacious, dry, and moisture-proof warehouse to store sand rakes, spare nets, posts, and other maintenance gear.
5. Tournament Operations & Smart Systems
· Outdoor High-Definition LED Big Screen: An outdoor waterproof P4/P5 full-color LED screen installed directly opposite the grandstand or diagonally behind the court for live scoring, replays, and sponsor advertisements.
· High-Standard Night Sports Lighting:
· 4 to 6 heavy-duty light poles (12m to 15m high).
· Professional LED anti-glare sports lighting fixtures. Tournament-grade courts require an average illuminance of 500 - 750 Lux, and spectator seating requires 150 Lux.
· Audio & Sound Reinforcement System: Outdoor waterproof line-array speaker systems, professional mixing consoles, wireless handheld microphones, and headsets for commentators to ensure high-fidelity audio coverage across the venue.
· Broadcasting & Network Readiness: Full commercial Wi-Fi/5G coverage, designated hookups for HD television broadcasting vans (OB Vans), and camera platform positions around the grandstand.
· Smart Access Control: Turnstiles equipped with smart ticketing systems at the grandstand entrances, supporting face recognition or QR code scanning.
6. Maintenance & Weather Resistance Equipment
· Automated Sand Screening Machine (Manual/Electric): Used regularly to deep-filter debris, leaves, twigs, insects, or small stones from the sand, keeping it pure and safe for bare feet.
· Sand Rakes & Levelers: Handheld tools used by staff to smooth the sand surface between matches or at the beginning and end of the day.
· Automatic Sprinkler / High-Pressure Water Cooling System: During peak summer, the sand surface can exceed 50°C. High-pressure sprinklers are used between matches to cool down, suppress dust, and firm up the sand surface.
· Sandpit Protective Covers: Giant waterproof tarpaulins to cover the entire sandpit during the off-season or extreme weather (heavy rain/snow) to prevent contamination or sand loss from strong winds.
7. Commercial Operations & Fan Experience (Value-Add)
· Beach-Themed Juice Bar / Snack Kiosk: Located adjacent to or beneath the grandstand, selling chilled coconut water, sports drinks, smoothies, and light snacks (serving as the social hub and profit core).
· Merchandise & Pro Shop: Selling sunscreens, professional beach sports apparel, sunglasses, swimwear, and tournament souvenirs.
· Commercial Marketplace Zone: An open area behind or beside the grandstand with waterproof power outlets reserved for sponsor booths or creative pop-up markets during events.
· Photo-Op & Relaxation Area: Landscaped with tropical palm trees, outdoor umbrellas, woven lounge chairs, and neon backdrop walls to create a trendy, island-vacation vibe right in the city.
