Bangkok is the destination for the fourth and final stop for our global fan experience for this season, giving fans in Thailand the chance to watch one of our Premier League matches in the company of the legendary Gianfranco Zola.
Teaming up with Chelsea's global hotels partner Ascott, who are our proud presenting partner for this The Famous CFC tour stop, we will be in Bangkok on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 April and on the second of those days, supporters have the opportunity to join us for:
Live screening of Chelsea vs Everton in the Premier League
A Q&A session with Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola
Entertainment and activities, including a photo opportunity with the Premier League trophy
Opportunities to win exclusive signed merchandise
Former Italy international Zola is quite simply one of the most popular and skilful players ever to compete in the Premier League and the Blues were lucky to call him ours. He was twice voted Chelsea Player of the Year and scored some of our most iconic goals of all time, as well as winning domestic and European trophies.
The Famous CFC series is designed to deepen the connection between Chelsea and our supporters worldwide and this exciting opportunity in Thailand follows on from The Famous CFC visits to Singapore, Malaysia and China this season, and Bangkok has long been a favourite destination for Chelsea in Asia.
Our most recent visit to the Thai capital was in 2017 and the last time the team played a game there was two years earlier when as reigning Premier League champions, we took on the Thailand All Stars. It was All Star sides we faced in the same city in 2011 and 2013 as well – and back in 1997, fresh from winning the FA Cup, we travelled to Asia and took on the Thailand national team and guess who was on that trip? Yes – Gianfranco Zola!
